Getting started with EGAZ mining
Follow these steps to start mining EGAZ and earning rewards.
Setup steps
Get a wallet address
Generate an EGAZ wallet using core-geth, or use an existing address that supports the Etica network. Your rewards are paid directly to this address — no account signup required.
Choose your mining software
Any miner that supports the etchash algorithm works. lolMiner, T-Rex, and gminer are common choices. Make sure your miner is set to etchash, not plain ethash — the two are similar but produce different results.
Point it at the pool
Use the stratum connection below with your wallet address as the username. The worker name (after the dot) can be anything — it helps you tell multiple rigs apart on the dashboard.
Confirm you're connected
Look yourself up on the dashboard using your wallet address once your miner's running. You should see a growing hashrate within a few minutes.
Get paid
Payouts happen automatically once your balance crosses the threshold shown on the dashboard. No manual withdrawal needed.

Why aren't my shares being accepted?
The most common cause is an algorithm mismatch. Confirm your miner is set to etchash, and that you're connecting over stratum, not getwork/HTTP proxy mode.
